On my cv I have self employed dj (put names of places and how long), also event organizer, promoter, I also offered advice to promoters, so I've also put consultant, If you design flyers, you can put Graphic or Flyer design, If you deal with cash, you can put Cashier, If you flyer on the street, you can put Street Level Promotion, Etc, etc... There's a lot you can use to your advantage and believe me there's lots of people out there that will pay you good money for your knowledge and expertise |

I've never actually worked at a rave come to think of it, But yeah I've worked with many reputable organizations over the years, manage my own "company" providing dj services which is very successful (I play a lot and not for cheap), have organized many events, dealt a lot with money, from managing the cash to paying out of town artists and have worked at many reputable establishments, I also sign contracts and deal with legal issues. Thats not counting all the hours of promoting. You may laugh, but thats a lot of real life experience In any event, for any one in their 20s, any potential experience you can put on your cv is good. Ok, you're obviously not gonna get that $50,000 a year job with it, but it will help you're applying for your next one |
