 Coolness: 88780 | Wow, serieusement, je ne vois pas comment ils font pour fitter 300 personnes la dedans! Surout pour un party ou ca va danser... et on parle de dnb, le monde prennent de la place quand ils dansent la-dessus.
Je demandais justement a Seb si la sale pour Upbeat allais être plus grande parce que personellemtn j'était rendu jammé en arrière à danser comme un fou parce que je me tannais d'être pogné en avant avec un paquet de monde dans le chemin lol! J'ai adoré ma soirée, mon seul low point c'est la thunder-bitch qui m'a engueulé comme du poisson pourri après qu je l'aie accroché avec mon dos en dansant... je me suis retourné et je me suis excusé, j'ai eu droit à une brique et un fanal. I'm sorry, but if you can't handle the dancefloor GTFO, people dance and get entranced which means little accidents will happen... deal with, say sorry, smile and move on. Anyways, the high point outshines the low by far, Dieselboy rocked the house with his insane dark beats and I danced til my legs wouldnt follow no more and then some! |

A lot of efforts where put in that event, guyz n' gurlz. We as a team, I beleive, functionned pretty well. Being a thursday with a blizzard did not help, but as Golgo mentionned, booking "that" sat. dec 15, was, then, impossible... ...plus the fee for Dieselboy would've been different aswell... So... what is the answer for a better turnout? (We hoped for 200 heads, we got 142 + approx 18 guestlist = 160)... ... I'm glad we booked #1 DnB Dj North America... it pumped us up for 2008. ... BTW, solid sets by our fellow Quebec city partners, MK & Atopsy, aswell as from our heavy hitter Generic! See ya'll on DEC. 28th for the Beat Concierge staff party@ K.O. Petit Campus. PPL were really into the music and the vibe. The three sets were all dope.. Deiselboy is deaf and so was I after his set.. HAHAHA!! It was great to see everybody out partying on a Thursday night when most of us had to work early the next morning. Big ups to Beat Concierge and to KO and to everyone involved, you guys put together a really nice show and I was happy to be able to be included. I understand the big guys cost a lot to bring to town - it's much appreciated. I think KO has a good thing going on right now and although there were some losses in the financial department, there was some serious gains in the "Holy shit that was a fucking awesome party!!!!" department. PS.. Don't make any excuses for Pascale. She was WAAAAY too drunk and didn't handle herself well at all. Anybody who gets up on the stage and starts bothering the people who are trying to put on a good show should be asked to leave. I just hope she wasn't too drunk to realize WHY she got kicked out. I mean EVERYBODY gets a little drunk sometimes and does stupid shit and embarrasses themselves??? So hopefully nobody will have any hard feelings, and she'll chill out at the next KO. PEACE!!!! |

J'en reviens juste pas comment c'était bon! Cibouaire! Ça torchait en sale... Je veux: le gars a vraiment des SKILLZ... Vraiment, je suis impressionné. Je ne pensais pas que je pouvais triper tant que ça! En TK, un gros criss de MERCI aux gars de Beat Concierge qui ont eu les cojones de faire venir le gars en question à Montréal pour nous faire plaisir. J'imagine que ça dû vous coûter une petite beurrée, mais n'empêche que ça en valait la peine! WOW!
Je te comprend McKen, c'est vrai c'est décourageant de se vider les poches quand on voit que le monde ne se déplacent pas plus que ça pour voir un artiste de ce calibre. Moi aussi je suis un peu déçu de la scène Montréalaise. Mais je me dis que c'est pas une raison pour pas faire les choses en grand. Anyways, c'est vrai qu'on a beaucoup de talents à Montréal et c'est pas toujours nécessaire et lucratif d'inviter des headliners, mais c'est toujours apprécié par ceux qui se déplacent! |
