| You get released after signing a paper saying you promise to show up in court... It takes about 4-8 hours before they get to that, then release you after you sign the paper. If you're fucked up, they will wait till you become sober before starting anything. They take your finger prints and such also for some fingerprint database.
It would cost society a lot if they had to keep everyone they arrested. They would have to feed you, get you clothes, have security watch you. It's a lot of money.
Anyways it's not as bad if it's their first offense. It's also not as bad if they have real jobs. The courts see if doing whatever they did was their main source of income (that's worse), if it was not their main source of income, I think it's better. After the first offense then it becomes worse.
Anyways I'm not sure if everything I said it true, but I'm pretty sure about it. |

| If you have a good lawyer they will let you out right away. no questions asked, but you have to sign that piece of paper. If you're with legal aid and your crimes are serious, you're a little more fucked, court on moday, sentencing - freedom/rdb/bordeau with bail/no bail. Lots of things can happen, if you dont have a good well known lawyer might as well get ready for your new boyfriend named jean guy-bubba blue. |
