| Coolness: 2604185 | It's not more expensive then Montreal. My cousin pays 900$/month for a 6 1/2 house with a yard and driveway. It's just that people are spread out since the city covers a ton of land. They have a lot of room to expand also. The problem is there is no nightlife there really! |

At one point Calgary did have a pretty decent hardcore scene... I went out there a few times... saw Nicky Fingers (rip) and Ralphie Dee there in '96, and caught a great show with Speedfreak & Dan Efex in '97... I think things really fell off after that, though. |
