cute! :D
I think there are other species of sharks in the St-Laurent, but smaller ones, like 1m long... Well that's what the bio teacher told us when we dissected one 2 years ago... Ah, I found it: [ diablesdesmers.qc.ca ] That one. Didn't know there were bigger ones. :)

"The only age analysis to date, by Norwegian researchers, pegs them growing about half a centimetre a year, which would put a seven metre adult at several hundred years old, easily beating the giant tortoise by decades, even centuries."
holy shit.... |

50 000 not 500 000. At least they are some still alive, and not wiped out like the dodo. |

age has nothing to do with where they habitate...
sea life is extreamly tempature sensitive... and where most sea creatures roam is determined by the tempature of the water they live in and thier food supply. if that changes... they are gunna move somewhere more fitting to thier needs.

Yeah. There's a lot of whales are getting trapped in freshwater or lost altogether because they are following the wrong currents due to changing water temperatures.

tellement :) Genre, on aurait envie de les flatter... Mais.. Un requin, ça a de la peau comme du papier sablé, alors c'est pas très doux comme texture.
