I am in to animal rights - I am not an extremist - but I do little things like help the spca/other shelters/ I would like to open my own shelter one day and am studying in school the field. But I know no matter how much I do - it will help a little bit but there will always be some fucker abusing/killing/mistreating helpless animals. With bums - I rarely give change. Maybe I am ignoring the situation - sucks for them but I still have a hard time feeling bad for them - we are lucky in MOntreal unlike a lot of other places and there are tons of programs to get u back on your feet - unless u were an ex mental patient released from mental institutes that closed down...that sucks. There is only so much we can do. |
