I gave them a big sob story about being late for class and that I had an exam, and I never woulda done it, and now that they`re talking to me I`m gonna be extra late and fail the semester and bla bla bla... they let me off... the cop was a chick... | well yeah it is, montreal has to be the best (or worst) in everything. i've had friends get ticketed for drinking in a park, and they told me it sucks... just drink in your appartement, or in a bar.

| Drinking in a bar is expensive and drinking in an apartment is boring. Some people don't have balconeys. Basically they are saying if you want to have a brew outside you either have to spent a shitload of money at a bar and stick to their terrace or you have to commit a crime.
Pretty funny they call Montreal a european city when in many places in europe you can drink on the bus or at the movie theatre or in any park or while walking down the street (and these are places with much better economies than the shithole we live in). I guesse I could always spend my time walking around town slashing tires than relaxing in a park with a good lager. |
