Shit, man, that's still way in the beginning of the game! It gets way freakier, though I'll admit that is one of the freakiest in the game... You should try Clocktower 3. Played that with my brother and sister, in a lit room, and we still ALL screamed at one part that just freaked the HELL out of us!

*props* to pokemon red and blue, not cuz it was a good game but cuz of the marketing idea.....spliting the EXACT same FUCKING game in 2 parts, modifying it just a lil bit and making it the "2e part" of the game was one of the best commercial idea's ive ever seein....think about it....the same game, yet 2x more money!:D + you had to buy that fucking cable shit to put the 2 GB together.

I dunno, I really liked the concept of the diffrent cartridge thing. See, here in north america, everyone thinks that there are ulterior motives behind everything that Big Evil Corporations put out, whereas over in the east, it was seen as something that would force kids to go out and make more friends to trade and get a complete collection. Here in north america, we're so lazy and paranoid and used to thinking that The Big Bad Evil Corporation Is Out To Get Us that we see it as a ruse to make people buy more.

It's like Tamagochis. Same thing, parents here in north america were like "Aw another useless toy to spend money on and distract my kids with while I watch more TV", whereas in the east they were given to kids to get them used to responsibilities like taking care of pets and kids so that they would be more responsible and mature earlier.

Makes you wonder which part of the world has their heads screwed on straight.

Super Smash TV also.

FUCK yeah. I keep saying that that needs to be re-done on the PS2. Dual analog sticks people! HELLO! Or fuck that, throw it to the Xbox and make it more in depth, save your character and buy upgrades for yourself and fight online in tournaments and shit..

Also if you liked Smash TV, check out this PC game, Alien Shooter

Download the demo, and then take a look for the crack, shouldn't be too tough to find (I can email it to you if you want)

Same kind of mindless ENEMIES EVERYWHERE KILL EVERYTHING action, but you can buy weapons and armor and upgrades between levels with the money you find.

when you think about it...it was a marketing idea, i dint say it wasent a bad idea or that they are just money hungry corporations.
just the fact that... having to pay for the concept and developpement of only one game, then making a 2e one almost identical was a brilliant idea.... so insted of buying this 50$ game (at the time of its release) people will want both versions therefore spending 50$+tx TIMES 2!!

also, abotu wipeout, the best version is wipeoutfusion for ps2, unfortunatly mine was stolen with all my games, and i resist every weekend to the temptation of buying one just for wipeout. But a 300$ game is a little too expensive :(

Obviously you COMPLETELY missed the point of my post.

OVER THERE, they aren't fat lazy antisocial slobs who think everyone is out to rip them off. They focus on things in life that are POSITIVE, like making games that get kids to go out and make friends or making toys that help kids be more mature and responsible.

OVER HERE, we are suspicious of EVERYTHING and think EVERYONE is OUT TO GET OUR $$$$MONEY$$$$ because MONEY is our only motivation to do ANYTHING anymore. We are so BLINDED by WANTING MORE MONEY that women are taught to yell FIRE if they are being RAPED because yelling rape does nothing to people, but yelling FIRE means that their STUFF might burn up and/or that there might be something COOL to watch in a few minutes, so it gets their attention.

I didn't really like Fusion that much. Focused too much on the weapons and not enough on the racing.

If they want to make the "ultimate" wipeout game, they're gonna have to do something Mechwarrior style where you race for cash to buy upgrades for your racer's weapons and shields/armor, customise it with logos and stuff, and of course do this online! Have an MMORPG-style network set up where you can jump into races, with diffrent difficulty races based on your speed and your record and stuff...

THAT would rock.

Smash TV on PS2 or XBox would kick serious ass. My whole family, including both my parents, were hardcore addicted to that game.

When I went to bed at night, I'd have trouble sleeping because all I could hear was Smash TV sound effects in my mind.

Yeah, I was addicted to it in the arcades originally. Fortunately my uncle ran a couple of arcades at the time so whenever I'd go with some friends he'd give me a copy of the key so that we could play all we wanted! Smash TV had a "sequel" called Maximum Carnage. Instead of being in a gameshow, your fighting in a war, but it had the same controlls and weapons.

You really NEED to check out that game I posted, Alien Shooter. You walk around with WSAD, and aim with the mouse. It really has the same feel as Smash TV, but with large levels and you can upgrade your character to be faster, hold more ammo, etc..
