Take your computer, then your hub, wrap them up together in duct tape, open your window, and up-lah! And let gravity do the rest.
...either that, or try looking in the manual inside the box that you got your hub from. Sorry if i'm absolutely useless... |

may wanna remember that if its not a router but a HUB, you need to connect with one of your computers (the one that has internet) in order for the other to be able to connect and have 2 network cards with it - one for the net connection (dsl modem or whatever) and one to the hub. the other comp just has one for the hub. then you need to set up a network.. use windows help on that one its easy. |

If none of your computer have 2 network cards.
Plug your modem in the "link" input of your HUB. Plug the"blue cable=Ethernet" from the computer you want to be sharing internet from in the input #1. Plug your secondary computer in the input #2. Run network connectino wizard on both computers. Google is your friend. |

Sure, I know a lot of straight guys who have the hots for Brad.
Anyhow, maybe you need to check out the network settings on your second PC, get the latest drivers for your ethernet card. You could always unplug cable 1 from PC 1 and plug in into PC 2. If it doesn't work still, definitely PC 2 is not configured properly to use high speed internet. If it does work then your hub isn't splitting the signal properly or the network cable on PC 2 is not cross-over ( look it up ). |

ZING!
Now there's an idea. Mind you, is there a company website for the hub you purchased? Customer service line? |

hubs should not be sold anymore, there really is no reason for them since switches are equally cheap and far superior. |
