FEDS WANT HOME WHERE POT FOUND

XENIA-Federal prosecutors Wednesday filed a lawsuit seeking
forfeiture of a $132,250 home in the 1100 block of Shorter Drive in
Wilberforce, where federal agents claim they seized about 600 pounds
of marijuana and $37,000 in cash in a July 24 raid.

There are no recorded liens on the home, according to the lawsuit
filed in U.S. District Court in Dayton.

A Trotwood nightclub and four homes in Greene and Montgomery counties
also were raided as sites suspected in a drug and money-laundering
operation, Drug Enforcement Administration officials said.

The drug discovery marked the largest single seizure of marijuana in
either county, said Russ Neville, the agent in charge.

Eleven to 15 suspects are thought to be involved in the ring, he said,
but no arrests were made.
