WHAT DRUG STING NEXT?
Re: "'Fake' drug checkpoints OK'd; Judges endorse vehicle searches after
motorists are tricked into dumping drugs," Aug. 15 news story.
Only in the self-perpetuating industry known as the "war on drugs" can a fake
checkpoint be legal and a real checkpoint illegal.
When it comes to non-problematic users of a prohibited substance, make the laws
as you need them. Wouldn't it be safer for law enforcement to watch convenience
stores for people who buy too many munchies?
Or is that next?
