CRUMBLING PILLARS

Vancouver Mayor Larry Campbell's "Four Pillars" approach to drug
addiction in Canada's worst neighbourhood isn't working.

The problem continues to worsen. The Downtown Eastside is controlled
by pimps, prostitutes, panhandlers, drug dealers, addicts and derelicts.

This sad situation is a terrible blight on our city. Most of us would
not venture to walk there at any time.

Enough is enough! It's time for the taxpayers of Vancouver to take
back the city. We must employ tough measures to effectively police our
neighborhoods.

The criminals must be apprehended and prosecuted.

Policing must be expanded.

The courts must incarcerate criminals for the protection of the
public.

The next time you vote, please consider this important issue and look
for a candidate who will work toward restoring safety, security and
pride to the city.
