Raid on clinic exhibits dogma of War on Drugs
As I read the news that the police had raided the Alternative Health Center
("Marijuana seized at clinic," Sept. 25), I felt literally sick. Has it
actually come to this?
Are we so uncaring, so uncompassionate, so drug wardogmatic that we are
willing to use the power of the police to take medicine from the sick and
dying?
I hope those involved in the raid sleep well, knowing they've cut off a
lifeline from our ill friends. I can't.
