TWO DOZEN ARRESTED IN L.A. CRACKDOWN
At least two dozen people were arrested Tuesday in what federal authorities
believe is the largest crackdown on drug distributors in the Los Angeles
area that developed from a single investigation.
Ten arrest warrants named 82 defendants, including about 24 who were
arrested Tuesday in Los Angeles and 16 who were already in custody.
The suspects sold several drugs and distributed them in Los Angeles; St.
Louis; Colorado Springs, Colo.; Louisville, Ky.; and Atlanta, U.S. Attorney
