AUTHORITIES RAID PARTY DRUG SUPPLIER

A Timaru supplier of the party drug One4b was raided by police and
Health Ministry officials yesterday. They took away bottles of a
solution for cleaning compact discs and electronic heads, and sachets
of One4b from Alphaware NZ.

A company spokesman said the company supplied the product to several
distributors, including Auckland-based Outerspace, which has been
distributing One4b, responsible for four hospital admissions in the
past week.

Ministry communications manager Peter Abernethy confirmed the action
was part of an investigation into One4b. The chemical is a commonly
available industrial solvent.
