Oh hai Montreal! Long time since I've posted but I think this party needs some reviews.

I'll start it.

I had a GREAT time at this party, although I missed a big part of it due to having to drive through horrible snowy conditions from Ottawa. I made it right in time for Entity's set and dude killed it, I was still feeling pretty stressed from the drive (we almost lost control of the car a few times along with others almost hitting us) so I didn't get much dancing in, I was just happy to be inside not in the car anymore. After an amazing set of Breakbeats I was feeling quite a bit more relaxed, Cyre and Systembanger took the stage and DAMMMMN boys!!! Funky dirty yet fun electro I haven't danced like that in months!!

The venue was pretty great except for only one washroom available. Having the "Smart Bar" and the Lego Centrik table along with some couches in behind gave the venue a very "old skool" vibe. The giant banner was a great touch but I honestly expected more deco. (Let me know for your next event I can help out.)

My only real complaint about the party is the lack of Ravers. I know it was a smaller party but I seriously expected more Montreal. The hardcore scene used to thrive, what have you guys let it become?? I was shocked to see that the hardcore scene here in Ottawa has grown larger than what yours is now. I know that so many of you love hardcore, so why didn't you show your faces!? Finally there was a hardcore event and none of you show up. I'm disappointed you guys.

Thank you to [ DatagramRadio.org ] for an awesome party, I'm sorry on behalf of the ravers I know that didn't show up, If you want to keep your scene you need to support it guys.

Can't wait for the next party, you guys definitely know how to throw a good party!

the only thing I think that should have been different is the locations of rooms. I was disappointed to see the hardcore room was the small room with no ventilation in the back. It honestly makes me sick to see that psy has taken over Montreal's scene. You guys used to have hardcore parties every weekend and now I'm surprised if I find more than 2 a year. The joke about "the since dieing" isn't much of a joke anymore. You've let yourselves be run down by the hippies.

I don't care what any of you psy trancers think about this post either. I've made it VERY clear over the years that psy is the ONE type of music I can NEVER stand/like. So this shouldn't come as any surprise.

I used to love going to Montreal, So much so that people thought I lived there all the time, now I feel it's a chore to go there. There's nothing going on other than psy or dubstep events. bring the Hardcore scene back Montreal!!

It's actually not like that at all. It's simply labled the Christian Rave cause the Ravers here started calling it that. I worked on the last party with them and I personally think that religion is a joke. I believe in God but I don't believe in any form of church and they (the promoters) are very accepting of that. They don't try to force me into coming to church or anything. They simply throw a good party.

So many are skeptical of these parties because they've been labled "Christian Raves" It really disappoints me. These people do it for what raving should be about. A love for the music. They are all non profit events. They ask for a donation of 5 dollars to get in that they use towards their youth program. Everything is out of their own pockets.
