The concept was inspired by a famous quote by the author:

"I came in with Halley's Comet in 1835. It is coming again next year (1910), and I expect to go out with it. It will be the greatest disappointment of my life if I don't go out with Halley's Comet. The Almighty has said, no doubt: 'Now here are these two unaccountable freaks; they came in together, they must go out together.'"

Seriously, weird stuff.

D'autres idées...un poulet en bébé? C'est peut-être un peu trop hardcore comme idée ça... >_>;

I'll try to watch some of these! =)

I haven't seen many Korean drama movies, more series and I always have a hard time getting caught in the stories. Maybe I just need to watch more of them. =P

In short, drama is to Korea like anime is to Japan. They have tons of these and I have rarely seen any with interesting plot lines, except for maybe one or two. In other words, I wasn't surprised at all. =P

Seen...Tekkon Kinkreet, Arch Angels, The Restless, Ten Nights of Dreams, Jade Warrior and Roommates.

I chose a bunch of different movies and liked them all, especially Ten Nights of Dreams for the dynamic and Tekkon Kinkreet since it was a very nice anime. Arch Angels was pretty funny and The Restless had amazing visuals. Jade Warrior was interesting since I never really saw any Finnish movies and Roommates was...ok i guess. Not really scary but still decent.

Fine with me...no more tornadoes! >=D That's what we get here when it's too hot.

Then again I'm persuaded that God is just tired of his Bible belt, maybe he wants some Bible pants or something instead or maybe he would enjoy a theme song!

"Bibleman, Bibleman,
Does whatever a salesman can,
Writes a book, any size,
Catches morons just like flies,
Look out!
Here comes the Bibleman!"

>_>; Thought that adding nonsense to a 5 year old topic would be fun...and by the way, Bibleman is a show they got here on TV on Saturday mornings, on the whatever-religious channel. Tape it, open beers, drink every time they say the word God...and you are drunk in less than 5 minutes! =P

It can become a problem when you get bank loans to pay for that kind of stuff and spend some money you don't actually have. Of course you can always sell these things back, but it a weird way to set your priorities. But heh, we all have passions. =P

What about trying to make different sauces for pastas? I know we get bored with the old spaghettis as it's been said, but you can actually make awesome meals with just a few ingredients. =)

My own personal favorites:

Roast some garlic in olive oil and add vegetable paste (not as acid as tomato paste and has a great taste), then just add some 15% cooking cream and let simmer for a little while. This one rocks. You can vary it by adding some green onions or different kinds of mushrooms.

You can also try to make some meat sauce with sausage meat instead of plain pork or beef. You can use either Italian or Toulouse and, if you like spicy food, you can even push it a little and use Merguez sausage meat. Then just add some crushed tomatoes, spices, some vegetables you like and you're all set.

Mixing béchamelle sauce with meat sauce is another option too. It makes it thick and rich. Very very good stuff. =)

What can you expect from people raised in societies based on the individual more than collectivity? I think that when you realize that the concept of individuality means to be unique, it erases all need for competitiveness. You learn how to share what you are instead of pursuing the all mighty perfection related to your own self. It also eliminates a bunch of devious social behaviors. On the other hand, I get the feeling that most people definitely lack a general sense of empathy, which is probably what's making it a "every man for himself" world, relationship wise as well.

So stupid or not, men and women are pretty much just as doomed if you ask me.

*Sings the doom song*

I think that it's possible to make a long distance relationship work. I am in one right now and I'm moving in two months to be with the man I love. I would never have let him go because of the distance factor.

If it's clear that you love each other, then everything is possible. You also have to be confident and be able to trust each other while being far away. That's probably the hardest part of the deal, but at the same time, it's the most important thing in a relationship. So if these are clear from the beginning, you can make it work.

^_^

depends on the way you see life...like an half empty or half full glass...concepts are created from scratch...but still are necessary at some point to explain states we relate to...things always are, just depends if you decide to see them or not...meaning that nothingness is still a thing you can have if you decide to acknowledge it...
