I've used both extensively and I ended up buying Traktor for myself. To me, it feels more like vinyl. However, if you dont have a cpu that can handle Traktor and all its requirements, then go Serato.

I wouldn't miss it if I were in Montreal, but I am a Toronto resident and my January schedule is a wee bit busy to make the treck. Everyone in Montreal should 100% hit it up though. I opened for the Upbeats a few years back and they (well he, we only brought in one) threw down one of the most badass sets I've ever heard. Dark dnb at its finest right there
