You can always check out the after hours, just because some people don`t like it, doesn`t mean you won`t, although try not to expect a typical rave atmosphere there :) It`s a bit more mainstream. Anyway, hope to see you at Electro Shock tomorrow.

Good points :) Like I said, I`m not in mtl, I really don't know much about venues that are available.
Mico: What sort of party are you looking to throw?

Anyway, a few places that are often used are the Rainbow, the bingo on St. Jacques, l'X, the sugarshack in St. Remi (it`s a bit far though :)
Anyway, I don`t live in Mtl so I only know of those places from going to parties :) Good luck, Mico!

Was that really necessary??? geez, a lot of people get help from others,there's still a lot of effort that will go into a party. All he wanted was a list of places where you could legally hold an event. I don`t think that`s asking too much...it saves him time, and possibly increases the chances of having a good party that won't get cancelled.

Ì`m not in montreal, but I found that my university profs are a great resource, they`ve done a lot, and been a lot of places, and although I`m not with a union or an agency, I`ve been acted in shows the past two summers with a local theatre company, and it`s helped me to know a lot of people with great connections, you don`t necessarily need an agent to do what you want. Being available is super good advice, dedication, and motivation are two important factors in who makes it or not in the theatre business :) good luck

wow!!! lol...scott brown was great!!! He was super pumped, the crowd was pumped and the music was great :) There was a bit too much hardcore at the end for my liking but it was really good too! I really enjoyed the ballons...and the sparklers at the beginning of Scott Brown`s set. It was incredible :)
