Pour célébrer sa 10 ème édition, Contakt déménage officiellement au Club Lambi ! Cette fois, nous aurons le plaisir d'accueillir le talentueux "Max Dirt" qui réchauffera le dance floor avec un DJ set Minimal Techno. Vous aurez droit à du solide Techno pendant le tag de "Acidave vs Gladsound" et Kasdal sera aussi de la partie avec un set qui « bûche » comme il sait si bien le faire. Ah oui ! Nous célébrerons aussi l'anniversaire de "Mr Spacekadet"!!

C'est donc un rendez-vous au Lambi le 28 février !


To celebrate our 10th Contakt event, we are officially relocating to Club Lambi! For this round, we are stoked to welcome "Max Dirt" who will warm up the dance floor with a Minimal Techno Dj set. Next up, "Acidave vs Gladsound" will team up to deliver a solid techno set followed by Kasdal, who will also roll out some thumping techno beats like you know he can. We are also celebrating another turn around the sun for Mr. Spacekadet!!

Le 31 mai prochain, nous fêterons le dernier Contakt de la saison et pour l'occasion l'équipe vous a préparé une surprise de taille. En effet, pour vous remercier de votre support apporté tout au long de la saison, nous avons décidé de vous offrir l'un des pionnier du mouvement acid techno Américain, nul autre que WOODY MCBRIDE aka DJ ESP. Il nous fera grâce d'un set live dans lequel il vous fera voyager à travers les différentes sonnorités qui ont fait sa renommée. Aussi au menu, un live set de BANDITOS et un tag team des djs Contakt pour débuter la soirée. Ne manquez pas cette occasion unique d'entendre une légende dans le confort intime du CFC !


The final Contakt event of the season is on May 31st and the crew has planned a special surprise. In fact, we'd like to thank you for your support throughout the season, so we thought the best way to show our appreciation is by bringing over one of the pioneers of the American acid techno movement, the one and only WOODY MCBRIDE aka DJ ESP. He'll treat us to a live set that is sure to take us on the ultimate ride and discover the range of sounds that he is renowned for. Also on the menu is a live set from BANDITOS, and for starters there'll be a tag team with the Contakt resident djs. Born out of a shared vision of musical inspiration, the duo of D-Nox & Beckers has, over the last 7 years, firmly entrenched itself into the landscape of the worldwide electronic community. Working as a perfect fusion of studio expertise and an impeccable dancefloor touch, this creative combination of Christian “D-Nox” Wedekind and Frank Beckers has become a an unfailing source of massive grooves which have successfully infected (infiltrated?) all corners of the globe. With more than a quarter century of combined DJing and producing experience between them, D-Nox & Beckers effectively merge a seasoned musical grounding with a dynamic creative spark that never fails in its ability to adapt to the ever-changing vista of electronic dance music.

Prior to the beginning of their collaborative work, both D-Nox and Frank Beckers were each well established in the electronic music scene, with a multitude of success both as DJs and in the studio. D-Nox began his career in Germany’s vibrant techno scene in the early-90s, and quickly became a fixture in clubs across the country. An aptitude for enveloping and captivating dancefloors with his incomparable style saw his booking diary expand to a global scale, while his increasingly frequent forays into the studio brought a number of releases as well as the birth of his own successful imprint, Sprout Music. With training as a musician from childhood, Frank Beckers compositional gift has always been evident. A string of full-length album and single releases under a variety of guises developed a sound steeped in detailed rhythms and savvy harmonies, as well as keeping Frank’s services as an actively-touring DJ in high demand.

In the time since their debut release saw the light of day in late-2004, the emergence of D-Nox & Beckers has been nothing short of astounding. Their numerous releases on a variety of top labels along with constant remix requests for artists such as Minilogue, Lützenkirchen, Nick Muir, Tocadisco and many others have become ubiquitous on worldwide dancefloors, with their works appearing in the cases and playlists of countless top DJs. Their 2007 album Left Behind on Electribe was met with acclaim and led to a heavy worldwide touring schedule with constant appearances in thriving musical centers in Brazil, Japan, Mexico, Australia and across the globe. The first half of 2008 has only seen this duo gaining further momentum with the release the highly-received mixed CD City Lights, recognition as one of the top artists in Beatport’s Music Awards, a first appearance for D-Nox in DJMag’s top 250 DJs and being signed to Marc Romboy’s legendary Systematic Recordings.
2010 they have won the DJ Award in the category “best progressive house artist”
In Spring 2011 D-Nox & Beckers will open the next chapter with the release of their 2nd studio album on Christian Smith´ well respected label “Tronic Music” !

Rather than following the current trends, D-Nox & Beckers have placed themselves squarely at the forefront of the evolution of electronic dance music. Slickly drawing from the best elements of a variety of musical genres, this duo is undoubtedly one of the most exciting acts to emerge in recent years. For our second event, we are excited to welcome Duca from Belgrade, Serbia. Having produced a number of tracks on Tribal Vision, 1605, and Iboga records, he'll be presenting his latest live set. We are also rolling out the carpet for Citizen Kain, up-and-coming French artist who is preparing a DJ set that includes all of his newest tracks. Also gracing our presence will be Banditos, a driving force during the French 'free party' scene in the 90's, and the one and only DJ Yann, who'll be at the controls at 10pm to get the party started!
