I'm sure they're line up is already booked solid but i'll see what they say.

we currently need a volunteer sound man who can handle hooking up a dj booth and mics. Someone who knows when its only the volume slider that's preventing sound from getting out of the board. someone who knows how to hook up a Serato box and understands the average booth setup.
Really all in all its not complicated at all, they just need someone to be present should something happen to come unplugged.

OK, well it kills me to say it but tonights event is either CANCELLED OR MOVED!! turns out the club got kind of fuct up in the hockey celebrations last night and doesn't have power right now, the owners just arrived to find it like this this evening and suffice it to say they're pissed!

Ok so this weeks event is up tonight.. and we've added another duo to the bill... although they might not be the PURITAN techno proponents i mentioned above, they play a unique blend of tech house that manages to be funky, dark and groovy all at the same time..they are one of the few duos that can lay down hours of tech-house without it venturing into CHEESE territory... so dont let it scare you away... come check it out :)

Attention all residents of the Point, St henri, Verdun, NDG, West Mount etc etc....
There now exists an new option for going out on a Thursday night. The club is called NUVO (located on the corner of Mackay/Ste Caths). It has beautiful MASSIVE sound and ample dance floor and tons of leather booths, a friendly staff and most importantly, some banging ass tunes!!!

We're trying to get a weekly going, of REAL techno, i.e: not what you hear at piknik, or anywhere else on a Thursday for that matter. Our biggest hurdle so far seems to be demolishing the psychological barrier that prevents anyone from even THINKING that there exists options for electronic music west of St laurent street.

so anyways, if you;re feeling adventurous, come check it out. Its rare that such a nice establishment lets techno DJ's take over and we should all take advantage while we can. DOnt get me wrong, i love our graffiti covered dingy drinking holes as much as the next guy, its just nice to go dance at place that doesn't smell like stale beer, or that has one annoying laser that blinds you for 5 hours straight.
