Unfortunately I can only keep selling it until Friday. I cannot risk not selling it by Tuesday and my stuff goes out on Friday. Therefore if I cannot sell it by tomorrow, it's coming with me. In other words, today's the last day!

As for shipping records, 400 records will be about 80kg, +- 10kg. Air cargo will set you back about $500 as will ocean freight (Canada -> Europe). I suggest you shop around on what will work best as a lot depends on shipping areas and countries. On the other hand, if there's no ocean in between, I'd make a road trip out of it!

I also have a Vestax power adaptor off the VMC-002xl mixer. I really have no use for it anymore, and I can throw it in for free with either the DVD or the 1200 if anyone wanted it. [ montreal.en.craigslist.ca ]

I am sad to be moving from this wonderful city and I've saved the best for last. Up until the last minute I've been contemplating taking this baby with me to Europe but with all the weight issues (not to mention hundreds of records already) and power supply hassles, I'm opting to let it go to someone who will love and cherish it as I did.

It's practically new (platter is still shiny for all it's worth), included is the original plastic dustcover (albeit cracked, it's still in one piece) and a heavy duty carrying case if you're planning on lugging it around (ex- CollinSylex owned). I'm also throwing in a Stanton headshell, stylus, and slipmat though you probably already have one or will buy a new one...

I know the MK2 is da shiz, but once you go MK5 you never go back. The recessed power button, LED pop-up light, smooth pitch fader, make it all worth the extra cash.

Hey guys!

I have no idea what happened to [ mtldnb.com ] and haven't really run into anyone that would have known. But by the looks of it, it doesn't seem to be coming back.

If that's the case, I'd be interested in creating another one (obviously I can't use the same name or domain) but just a simple forum where events and specific discussion can be posted. "Well" you may ask, "you can do that here!". True, and it's not that I'm trying to compete with [ rave.ca ] I think the fact that they hosted the forum for the last year (has it been that long?) was a very noble and selfless thing to do. I would hope that if another forum is created, that it would be in addition to this one. This, as well as I feel that there needs to be a dedicated forum, if we want to see more and better dnb evenets in the future. If nothing else, just to show that we can actually support one. (In Da Jungle doesn't seem to be too active either).

But before I spend any money on a domain, I would need to know there are at least a couple of people interested in being active there. It doesn't make for a great discussion if there's just three of us... What do y'all think? Is it worth it?

P.S. If someone knows that mtldnb is not returning, I'll probably set it up anyways, even if it's temporary.
