ah however pngs come with a background variance problem whereas gifs do not. I personall use a combonation of gif/jpg/swf for my graphical presentations, depending on their placement and content.

Hey since we're on the subject of bugs..

I've on numerous occasions attempted to upload a gif image as a photo and didnt look at the extension. The page reloads as usual, but hops at about the 20% mark to done, the image count remains the same though and no warning is served up to let me know my image didnt upload and that I should only upload jpgs...

Or am I missing something? No gif conversion?

I've never done any server side image modification but I imagine it involves an application on one end processing the images right?

Wold it be possible to create additional actions to that process? Such things are scriptable in photoshop/imageready using the actions pallette etc.

Make the watermark as a png24 image at 50% alpha positioned on a blank background the standard width and heigh, put it in the top left hand corner (to avoid needing to write another script for tall/wide photos) and have it added to the image as a layer, flattened and saved.

It would be even better if this was not done during the upload, it would be best to have the watermarking done during non peak hours to ensure proper bandwidth offering from the server.

A blind man will learn what he needs to learn in order to avoid that type of stumbling block in the future or to seek it out should he so desire.

I've only began taking mdma a month ago, I'm 30. Once i was suitably informed I still did not take the drug, as I wanted to be sure the source of it was relatively reliably pure. I did this by going through those less blind than me, since us blind folk gotta ask the seeing folk for directions sometimes..

Now that i've tried mdma, I'm exstatic. It's something I've needed for a long time, not wanted, NEEDED. It's not something I plan to abuse of course, but I see the therapeutic capabilities it has and m using it (aside from raving) at times at home in order to work on myself.

Pheonix, you make good points, you do go a bit overboard tho. If you're not interested in taking mdma or other such things than don't. no need to go overboard trying to convince everyone else of their "bad" decisions. Everyone makes decisions based on their own reasons. And since you don'tknow everyone that makes you blind to those reasons. you yourself have no reasons to take pillz, and thats fine with you, so that's fine with us.
