(HORIZONS MUSIC | METALHEADZ | CREATIVE SOURCE | CRITICAL | LONDON ZU | DO THE MATH | BASSBIN | CRITICAL | EMCEE | SHOGUN:LTD | SCIENTIFIC WAX | JERONA FRUITS | REVOLUTION | FUTURE THINKIN' | OSIRIS MUSIC | LUCKY DEVIL MUSIC)

Hailing from North London, The 24 year old DJ turned Producer they call Sabre is one of a fresh batch of twisted yet soulful thinkers bringing a grittier sound to the deeper spectrum of DnB. Punctuating 2006 with a flurry of releases and DJ shows, the youngster is set to carry the momentum into 2007 with releases due on prominent labels such as Metalheadz, Virgin V2, Gut Records, Renegade Hardware, Bassbin, Critical, Creative Source and Shogun. After being brought up in the Seychelles, Sabre moved to the UK in 1989 where within a matter of years a passion for Hip-Hop of the era had converted the quiet migrant from the Indian Ocean into a jeans sagging, pocket money squandering, vinyl addict. The Jungle Era arrived and overwhelmed at the richness of the music, Sabre started to purchase the occasional release, and eventually switched focus entirely towards drum and bass with the discovery of more futuristic, industrial sounding artists such as Ed Rush, Dom&Roland, Future Forces and Photek. Pirate and internet radio stations such as Live 4 Beats, UK Rumble, Rude FM and Vision FM supported the young DJ, and with hopeful ambitions emerging on a career in music, the inevitable experimentation with music production had begun, with artists of the day such as Jonny L, Ed Rush & Optical, Kemal and Teebee all providing a major influence, but never forgetting his roots the ethic of people like Premier, Diamond D, The Beatminerz and DJ Muggs all having a noticeable influence in early productions. A course in music technology followed and now armed with a grasp of technique; the first releases came in 2002 under the guise of both Sabre, and the collaborative ‘Intimidation Collective’ project. 2004 saw growing support in the form of remix work for British indie stalwarts, Relentless recordings, Singles for Jerona Fruits and Research recordings, and the formation of the now heavily active ‘Do The Math’ project , the collaborative production outfit founded by Sabre that has since grown to incorporate 5 members. With DJ work now increasing bolstered by the production profile, An excursion into the world of promotion with the launch of London Zu, and studio time resulting in heavily supported music such ‘Gift You Gave’, ‘NYC’ feat Jenna G, ‘These simple Things’ ‘Dojo’ and ‘The Late,Late show’ , the last 18 months have been an exciting and hectic period for the young Londoner. But with a long-term production and DJ relationship now emerging with Alix Perez, other collaborative efforts completed with Zero Tolerance, Survival, Fracture and Lowqui plus more diverse Do the Math material and future projects pencilled in alongside Lethal Bizzle, Commix, Kryptic Minds, Breakage, Kasra and more, the pace of life is unlikely to ease for the man his mates call ‘S’…...not just yet.

One duo that is slowly but surely making their mark on the DnB scene worldwide is known as "Saburuko". Representing Brooklyn, NY, by way of the UK, Russell Knight and Edward Parker are currently signed exclusively to the Horizons Music Group. Having spent their formative years back in their respective homes of Scotland and Wales they take over 2 decades of DJ and production experience to critical acclaim the world over. So far support has come from A-Listers such as Fabio & Grooverider, Doc Scott, DJ Lee, Marcus Intalex, LTJ Bukem, Nookie, DJ Flight, Digital, Amit, D- Bridge, Marky, Artificial Intelligence, Influx UK, Bryan Gee, JJ Frost and Outrage so it's no wonder these guys are being tipped for huge things in 2007 and beyond. With a rich and diverse musical background that is clearly evident in their productions it is claimed the ear they have for melody, mood and atmosphere is not seen in one set group. Evidence of this can be heard in their lead off release on Horizons, the Boro Park EP, featuring 4 tracks ranging in styles it is a perfect primer to the sound that is Saburuko: multi-faceted, deep, emotional and real. Saburuko have also been remixing and collaborating with such names as Insight, Bachelors of Science, Sabre, Hobzee, Soulmatic, Stunna and Amaning to name but a few. This will see releases on Horizons, Crisis and Progress Ltd. 2007 will also see the Horizons "Exclusive" artists release tracks on Future Thinkin and Integral.

Added to the tour on select dates

Playing in a tearing, Hi-energy style of drum and bass, DJ Seen has proven, hands-down, that he can move any crowd. Whether it be his airtight mixing, his wicked throw-ins, or the pure quality of his selection, Seen is all about business. Due to his frequent appearances and dramatic response at top parties, the name DJ Seen has become synonymous with NYC drum and bass. DJ Seen began spinning drum and bass back in 1994, when ragga jungle was significant in the scene; he has tirelessly promoted drum and bass and its evolution ever since. Early in 1996, DJ Seen and Konkrete Jungle's MC Panik formed the Audio Arcade, a crew whose mission was to create a passageway, or arcade, through which to present this music. Seen began co-producing with Pish Posh in 1999, bringing his dance floor expertise and fresh ideas to the studio of the American pioneer. Making a rumble from the get go with tunes released on Rawkuts/Rawkus, set the stage for DJ Seen to team with Pish Posh and Chris Thomas as The Burner Brothers. The Burner Brothers have set the pace for Stateside drum and bass, with a stream of floor stormers getting instant approval in their own DJ sets, and play from top UK and US selectors. In the year 2000 DJ Seen added the title of Label Manager of Rawkuts to his credentials, as he attended to the speedy revival of the imprint as an international force until its demise due to corporate take over of the mother label Rawkus. DJ Seen has new plans for the year 2006 as he has stoped working on labels to work more on his production and concentrate on dj'ing again. In a city so full of talented DJs, Seen stands out with his hard work, skill, and his infectious festive spirit. Filling rooms at countless drum and bass weeklies and raves in New York City, Atlanta, South Beach, San Francisco, LA and around America, DJ Seen can currently be found in rotation as an esteemed resident at NYC's Direct Drive. One duo that is slowly but surely set to make their mark on the DnB scene worldwide is known as SABURUKO. Representing Brooklyn, NY, by way of the UK, Russell Knight (aka J Funk) and Edward Parker (aka Edward Oberon) are currently signed exclusively to the Horizons Music Group. Their collective musical backgrounds span many genres, from Ska to Two Tone, Motown to Northern Soul, Electro to Breakbeat, House including a load of classical work Ed did as a teen.

Throughout their travels, both became fans of the Rave scene, falling deeply into Drum & Bass as youths. While J Funk was off bringing the electronic sound to many parts of Scotland, Ed was going around the world as an exchange student, learning new cultures and incorporating them into his writing. In his travels, J Funk ended up in New York, meeting DJ Seoul and getting involved with the Direct Drive crew, which in turn lead to the eventual meeting of J and Ed. From that initial meeting, they realized they had a lot of things in common musically and decided to pursue them together. This lead to them creating some serious music, from the digital fury that is “Latency” to some funkier liquid tracks like “Stellar”. The ear they have for melody, mood and atmosphere is not seen in one set group and has garnered praise from a slew of big name DJ's, ranging from Fabio & Grooverider to Doc Scott, DJ Lee, Marcus Intalex, LTJ Bukem, JJ Frost, Bryan Gee, Nookie, DJ Flight, Digital, Amit, Artificial Intelligence and Outrage, and soon to be many more, with numerous radio 1 and 1 xtra play.
