Most "dj's" stay midpoint because they just don't know any better or were shown that way.... but it really depends on how the rig is eq'd, how the tracks are mastered and ultimately how you want it to sound beyond that... in short ..of course its ok to go over the mid point.. let your ears be your guide ;)

Maybe he rounded out a few corners for aesthetic purposes afterwards, but who cares? if it was a hoax its an elaborate one.. perhaps a viral campaign by DHL or maybe its just like one of those theoretical art projects supported with documentation like they had us do in artx at concordia but i'd like to think he had an arrangement with dhl who i'm pretty sure would support such an amazing project if proposed properly. The only people I can see calling this a hoax really are all the lazy ass muthafukkaz this planet is famous for. dare to let yourselves be inspired!
