| Informations: | On Friday, April 28, 2006 Kapacity Entertainment proudly presents a revolutionary force in the underground hip-hop scene, Jedi Mind Tricks. Jedi Mind Tricks formed itself in the mid-1980’s in Philadelphia around the nucleus of its two central and principle players: Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind and Vinnie Paz (aka Ikon the Verbal Hologram). Born of mutually coinciding philosophies and raised on a steady diet of hip-hop’s Golden age, the two struck an alliance that would soon become one of the most important voices in independent hip-hop. Stoupe’s vicious production combined with Vinnie’s lyrical content and energy has proven numerous times that units can also be sold with quality music and word-of-mouth buzz as opposed to radio play and industry politics. Jedi Mind Tricks released the Amber Probe EP in 1996, and later gained a huge cult following with their 1997 debut LP, The Psycho-social-chemical-biological-and-electromagne tic manipulation of human consciousness, and their second album, Violent By Design (which was reissued in 2004 as a deluxe edition DVD). Respect and admiration for Jedi Mind Tricks has only continued to grow since the new millennium due to two more successful LPs, countless other projects, high-energy sold out shows around the world, and working with artists such as Gza, Kool G Rap, Heltah Skeltah, Killah Priest, and Army of the Pharoahs (AOTP). AOTP is a hip-hop supergroup comprised of some of the elite members of the underground hip-hop scene, along with some of the underground's rising stars (Vinnie Paz, 7L & Esoteric, Apathy, Celph Titled, Chief Kamachi, Crypt The Warchild & Planetary (of Outerspace), Reef The Lost Cauze, King Syze, Des Devious, and Faez One.) March 21, 2006 is the release date for the highly anticapted first AOTP LP, The Torture Papers. The wait is finally over.
