| Informations: | After two successful shows in Oct & Nov, Ottawa's only slam oriented poetry series is excited to invite you to attend their special holiday edition of Capital Slam. Come watch as the city's best MC's, poets, lyricists, rappers, and slam artists compete to take home the cash prize! Come early for the open-mike, and catch our special feature joining us from Montreal. *read up and spread the word...the spoken word, that is* [ www.CapitalSlam.com ] Capital Slam is pleased to present Kaie Kellough as the featured artist at its December 10 show. Kaie is a Montreal-based Caribbean-Canadian writer and performer, last seen in Ottawa as part of the Kalmunity collective in February 2004. Kaie is an active and long-time arts organizer, event promoter and radio producer. He regularly performs and publishes across Canada. This show will be the Ottawa release of his first poetry collection entitled “Lettricityâ€. |
