| It sounds weird as hell. For one, to be "chill", you'd need less abrupt sounds. The attack on things is too steep and it just "hits" you as opposed to washing over you. Weird time signatures/tempos also don't work too well for chill stuff, you should keep it to a steady 4/4, something constant, kinda like a heartbeat. |

| i like where it's coming from. you should try recording yourself scratching over it. it could give it a nice "wuketty-wuk" feeling and might make the beat's swing, a little more expected. |

the beat (drums) are something i spent NO time on, as i never do until i know how i want the drums to sound, so all it is, is a basic beat...
Fred, i'm not trying to make it sound chill, i just find it to be a very relaxed song, i hate chill music, mostly trip-hop, because of the ultimatly boringness and repetativness of the tracks...but when you say the attack is too much, do you mean for the drums or for the samples
Oliver, yeah, i'm gonna be doing that later on, first i'd like to get the track completed, which won't be soon, i've got plenty of stuff i want done with this track, but i think i'm gonna be scratching some horns on this track...but i can't do that at my place, my recording ability here is null, i need to be at my friends place for that

| Ok, I thought you were trying to make a chill track with the title and all. And I was talking about a little of both, the drums and the samples are a little too abrupt, but your not trying to make chill stuff. :b But I dunno, I can't really seem to get into the vibe of the track. The drums and other sounds sound too random. Are you making IDM-hop? :lol |
