I am just curious to know what religion you boys and girls follow, or if nothing at all...were you born into a faith? or found it on your own?

I was born a Catholic. Then entered into a siddhartha style...enlightenment...not worship.

as a child my mother encouraged praying, but we never went to church or anything. somewhere between the age of 12 and 15 i got angry at the christian religion for being so absurd. so i turned to satanism because i liked what it had to say, and it seemed more realistic. i still find a few aspects of the stuff i read in the satanic bible applies. i am also a strong believer in karma as well as a few other aspects of Buddhism, which i need to read more about. but within the past few years, my general atheism has led me to an anxiety of death. so, technically, i would be a happier person if i could believe in an afterlife.
awww well.

i've done research into many different religions in the past (nothing truely extensive) and i've found interesting points in all, though to me, it seems like each religion is conceeded in their own little way...
i don't personally believe in one religion, and i do believe in the power of religion (i can be very powerful to some) but for me, it isn't something i can dedicate my life to...
i suppose i'm Agnostic

I respect all faiths since it is a person's right to have their own beliefs. Your faith is your own salvation. Existence doesn't need justification.

Born: Jewish
Currently: Agnostic
Commonly referred to as: Jesus (Ironic isn't it?)

It is impossible to know the truth in matters such as God and the future life with which Christianity & other religions are concerned... or, if not impossible, at least impossible at the present time.

If I chose a faith: Buddhism

"Buddhism has the characteristics of what would be expected in a cosmic religion for the future: it transcends a personal God, avoids dogmas and theology; it covers both the natural & spiritual, and it is based on a religious sense aspiring from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual, as a meaningful unity"
-Albert Einstein

I also find the concept behind Raelianism quite interesting. Once the Quebec based cult surpassed 20,000 members it became a recognized religion; probably the only religion based on science & technology. In time this could become one of the more dominant faiths among our science fiction loving generation.

Watch out Trekies, you are not so boldly going where no person has gone before...

I was raised in a Jewish family, and some of my family members are still pretty religious. At the age of 17, I went through a conversion to Islam while in Egypt, though I wasn't completely serious at the time - it was more like a way to break off my ties to Judaism. For the past few years I've been agnostic, with a strong interest in the philosophies of Buddhism and Taoism.

Buddhism is quite sexist, yet not, but then is

they worship female gods, yet, traditionally, women aren't allowed anywhere near the faith

my beliefs neo-pagan with heavy dianic influences, which means in short, my beliefs are rooted in an animsitic or pantheistic principal loosely forumlated, and i refer to that principal as Goddess. i currently practice what is known as witchcraft, but of no particular tradition specifically. my interests right now are in syncretic religions like voudoun, candomble and santeria.

my mom had a fit when i told her i wasnt going to baptize my kids in the church.

After studying the dynamics of cults at concordia under the eye of Susan Palmer...I believe i have what it takes to form a New religion and give the faith back unto the souls of humankind...for a price.

i am partial to the science of inner sound and light though i have not been "initiated"
my old jewish artist friend Bill Anhang is also a great influence in my spiritual development
the little bit i posted in the news & articles section was from his website

Sant Mat, the path of the Masters,
is the basic practice of spiritual science
or mysticism, which lies at the root of all
major world religions. It is not a religion itself.
We are not here to criticize, nor to promote any religion.
We simply refer to scriptures of various religious traditions
in order to illustrate the universal nature of this “science of the soul.”

Sant Mat is a practical way of life
for realizing your true self as soul
and awakening the Universal Consciousness within you.
The essential component of Sant Mat is the competent, living
Master-Saint who guides the aspirant to his or her Higher Self,
at the level of soul, in the form of inner Light and inner Sound.

The Light and Sound within are inner manifestations of God, in some traditions called the Word or Holy Spirit, they represent the link between soul and Over-Soul, between God and creation.

krishna is cool too

i was practically born a pagan
