It started off as an attempt to remix the main demo song that came with FL Studio 4.5, but then after asking permission, I only got it to use the samples, not the vocals or lyrics, essentially saying "NO REMIX". So, even though those vocals are in that mp3, I found a new vocalist, lyrics are done, I got a new mic, a new mixer console, a new sound card (3ms or less of delay rocks), so there will be new vocals entirely. It says in the ID3 tags that guitars are done by Perfect Victim. They are going to be done by Homesickaliean, frontman of House of Cards. Right now, the "guitar" parts are done by Slayer. The song will be part of an upcoming full length called Rhetorical, which will be full of post-modernism, pseudo-IDM, and trip-hop/nujazz. --- [ www.psikon.com ] Perfect Victim is originally composed by House of Cards and released for free on Ronin Collective. An EP will be released with a bunch of remixes, including this one when it gets finished. The only thing taken from the original song are the vocals themselves. Everything else was composed/programmed by me. --- [ www.psikon.com ] A nice, well layed out hard and fast goa track. Its not really a work in progress as I don't intend to work on it anymore. Its not mastered, probally could use a few more elements of surprise in it, but I decided to leave it as is and openly release the FLP file/samples that were used to compose this track for anyone to learn off of, remix, ect. The title is based on the fact that I've been pushed down to a p500 eMachine. [ www.psikon.com ] is the FLP file/samples/presets ect. Just load the zip file into FL Studio 4.12 or later. |
