~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have a buddy at work that throws parties and needs a dj to play a 1-1.5hr set (party is in about 2 weeks). I think it'll be mainly d&b/breaks/hip-hop/jungle stuff but his parties vary.... He's a great guy, it'll be good vibes....it's a chance for new dj's who want some experience to play in front of an intimate crowd without worries about being dissed. NOTE: you gotta play for free....his parties are free, bring your own booze.... If anyone is interested I'll get his digits and post 'em here, then you can call him up for more info. ps you may know him, he's a regular Blue Dog thursday night guy.....big bald dude named J.C....a real sweetheart. |

Payment is the pure joy of playing for a crowd without any stress and making people happy. The dj's that play at his parties usually get hooked up with clubs after...he just gives them a chance to spin in front of a cool crowd. No happy hardcore allowed, that he did mention. :) I'll post contact info tomorrow night.... |

Crowd size? I'll ask... He basically likes to throw parties, knows people who own clubs and once djs get good, he fixes them up gigs or something. He just started working with me so i don't know the whole story, only that we partied a couple of times and he's really nice. |
