 Coolness: 238715 | Once again huge & i mean Huge props to the IDJ family for pulling off another sick night of magical music!!!!!!!! All of the dj rocked. Dj Mana was ....WOW!!! I enjoyed being the water boy for most of the night...thank you Fred for taking over after me. The night started off slowly, but by 2 am or so it was jumping. I loved the music was sick!!! A lot of my favorite tracks where played..which always has to make you smile:) IDJ crew you guys rule!!!! You want out of this world jungle/d & B come to IDJ and get it served with style;)
Odd part of evening was the old very confused asian guy...????? Wicked part: Ladies i have noticed some wicked ass tattoo that some of you have. Once again very unquie pieces done...props to those that embrass art and it's different forms. Some kickass dancers. Was great to see the rave wave crew too:)...you know who you are.... | Coolness: 49115 | The party was great. the venue was hot (I have a soft spot for L'X), lots of people showed up and the vibe was great. I had a blast till I started playing. I had the craziest tracks and Played the wackiest set! So many technical problems happen while i was playing. First off the cd player, then the compression, the skipping, then i realize that only one turntable was working and it only got fixed 10min b4 the end of my set!!! I was struggling for an hour and never got to vibe off my records. Good thing i brought tons of dubs on cds or else we would have been fucked. I was so hype for this gig and left unsatified and ungry for more. Sorry guys, but shit happens.
Enough of my problems. I had a great time hangning out at the bar b4 i played and I really enjoy Galaksy early set. Thank for the party and keep them coming. You guys should consider using this venue more often. |

Djs were great, too bad about the tech problems. I liked the local, except for the fact that we couldn't bring booze downstairs (until later on). Washrooms were totally not-scary this time the air was pretty good and it wasn't deathly hot...nice. The Blackbelt Jones vid cracked me up.....bwaha so did Mana mixing Onyx at the end of his set Thanks IDJ crew!! oh....and wow, some of y'all can fuckin' dance...i love seeing people lost in motion |

T'was good seeing Galasky and all the crew Finally Nimi knows who I am =D Loads of sexy girls, underage for the most part... meh LOL at the bouncer ( late late twenties ) trying to have his way with the pilled up girls on the dancefloor, that was desperate Great venue ! Galaksy's set was top notch. The perfect mix of " techstep " and jump up, very nice selection. And his mixing skills, oh my. Nitrous' set was badass too, props to him for dropping some " digital ". Did anyone notice when he dropped his own tracks ? Loco teared it up on the mic. I couldn't hear Mc Y during Stabba's set =( Stabba dropped a mad amount of exclusive tracks ( send some this way wink wink ). That nightwalker ( or maybe Raiden ) tune ( anyway it's on gain recordings ) made my night. IDJ family ! Boh ! |

finally mey ya punanny! took long enough like i said but im happy it finally happened you rock! reg... what can i say your so my favorite person ever!( i knew we would get along!) i have officially got a sweet spot for you! you rule! idj crew your guys rocked it like never before! seb your set blew me away at a point you will never understand! i think highlight would hvae to be when my friend Ray scratched with mana at some point during the night,.. hes 15 and hes amazing at it! major props to him as well! mana kicked ass i must say i was very very impressed especially when he busted out bounce by teebee ( woot) stabba.. what is there to say you always kick ass even with the technical difficulties you always rock the dancefloor! keep it up big up! you guys rule |

 Coolness: 194120 | came late, but sheeit happens. good times, it was great to chill with the luc krew again albeit briefly, and see all the regulars posse reprazentin. i was buzzed off my ass and tired, so i didnt dance as much as i usually do, not to say that the music wasnt adequate, mostly good stuff was being span. met some new peeps. was in a philosophical mood and had a blast observing the floor from different angles and seing the little people currents and happenings. its amazing how much you can understand about what peeps talk about and do without hearing a word they say. had to go in a rush, sorry to all thsoe i didnt say bye to, you know i love ya all. in retrospect, hectic but great nite.
most importantly BIG UP BIG UP to mah IDJ bruthas for putting this shit together properly. Hopefully the night at Velvet in two weeks will be a smashing success. (those who dinn know, 2 weeks from now Thurs at Velvet people. details will follow soon at [ mtlidj.lack.ca ] ) p.s. to a couple peeps trying to beef at the entrance - dont hate. those parties are all about chilling and having a good time. in the infamous words of Mary J B, leave your situations at the door, IDJ is all about the love. |

hi lee, fred, gordo, pookie (SAVE ME), claire. it was cool so see some oldskoolers out. i REALLY love L'X, i'm glad there was alcohol served as well. I GOT CARDED going onto the 2nd floor. lame. stabba's set would have been awesome had he been able to use the other table, i remember at one point the right hand speaker just kicked in and everyone went nuts. there was a drunk girl dancing in her bra and booty shorts, thanks for the entertainment. big up! |
