WILLIAM BUTLER TALKS 'ROTLD 4 & 5' Writer/Director and former horror film victim, William Butler, sat down to talk with Fangoria about a few of his upcoming projects including the long talked about Return Of The Living Dead 4 & 5. He says things are moving along nicely, after many false start dates, and we should be seeing something soon. "The first one is called Necropolis, and it's about kids breaking into an experimental mutation lab — skateboard punks with shotguns — and it's like a living PlayStation game. It's awesome, it has the same vibe as the first one. Part five is called Rave From The Grave, where these kids realize that if you take Trioxin in very small doses you can have a life-after-death experience. Like, it's like they gave a bunch of teenagers a huge budget, and all they invested in was a "rave" soundsystem, halloween masks of zombies, and a special effects crew that desperately wanted to recreate the bullet-time effects of The Matrix, but didn't know how... |

| Coolness: 685820 | That's Night of the Living Dead, not Return of the Living Dead ;) Night of the Living Dead spawned off Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead.
Dawn of the Dead was just re-made, filmed in a Toronto mall, actually. The trailer shows a lot of promis of this not sucking like most horror remakes. |

| Coolness: 685820 | 28 Days Later was amazing. The Dawn of the Dead remake looks like it's going to be fuckin' good though. Granted, 28 Days Later wasn't a zombie movie, but it was close enough for comparison...
I just caught the trailer for Van Helsing, too, it got released today. Hugh Jackman playing Dr. Van Helsing on a mission to transylvania to kill The Wolfman, Dracula and Frankenstein. Looks like a Blade-style action movie more than horror, but I think it's gonna be fun as hell! |

| Coolness: 685820 | Yeah, that's the 1st one. There's a part 2 which is practicaly the same thing with a few changes, and part 3 is a rather drastic change in story, with a guy using the triozin to bring his GF back to life. |
