 Coolness: 141570 | okay, so, i know i'm not known for being any kind of a serious talker, i'm not in denial, i don't like being concerned and uptight and on the ball about the community, i like having fun, at most costs...but well here
i am becoming concerned i don't know about any of you, but in the last 3 months (give or take), i've noticed a dramatic increase in violence, and i'm not talking about organized crime violence, which doesn't concern me, almost at all, because you'd be supprised at how safe some of it is...(HAHAHAHAHAHA, what a statement) but really though, in the last little while, i've notice a significant increase in montreals violence, there are more murders happening, more unorganized crime and more random gang (not organized, again) violence, and it is starting to become regular... for a long while montreal has been QUITE placid, and that was fine by me, but recently the violence has been escalating, and me no likey anyone got thoughts??? |

 Coolness: 145625 | I dunno....I haven't noticed an increas personaly....like last thursday, I guy got RANDOMLY and mean randomly punched in the mouth by what seemed to be a guy on crack....or on meth (that'll probably make Scotty P laugh so yeah:b)....and then because the bus driver didn't wanna let him out, he just left thourgh a window......I mean it was obliously radom since the kid who was an emo-punk (u know they inocent) surely didn't know that greasy hair tweaked out guy......but that's Parc X, I guess......always been sketchy like that, as far as I'm concerned.
I dunno what it is.....I say Parc-X is probably due to drugs or just plain stupidity in people to front and show what they "rule the turf" or something like that.....I quit trying to understand..... |

people are becoming more nad more agressive and thats no way to deal with thigns violece may be an answer in some peoples minds but i for one an against it it solves nothign and just causes more tension if you havea problem discuss it or something but hitting someone will not help in anyway.... i an quite certain that the increase in violence has no connection with the meth in montreal but think as you please i am against violence and most forms of crime i mean come on what happened to all the P.L.U.R.?? hahaha just my 2 cents thanks.... |

I knew it was tweaked.. but more and more weapons are used. Like there's this gang fight in front of Angels... and one of the dudes grabs a pic..like a miners pic.. 4 feet long... I don't know if it was in his car... or on the garbage truck that happened to be there... Charles, from the Corridor: I'm walking down St-Laurent with Blake, and he's knocking out 8 guys with his other friend... I finally get him to stop and when we go back inside, he put a huge blade back in the kitchen. LIKE Mother fuck!!!! If I woulda known!!!! So I'm gessing..yeah it is more violent in the sense that ppl pack weapons a bit more too... on top of that random violence. |

i hate confrontations and what i dislike the most is being in a good mood and intentionaly getting bumped into with a cigarette or getting stared at by a pack of punkasses on a metro... don't know why these types gotta feel like they need to start shit. it's not even just up and coming teenage gangsters that hope to gotto juvenile and pay some dues it's really nothing new; maybe just increasing downtown as opposed to extremities of the metro lines i just want to have a good time and be in a good headgroove |

i felt it was nesesary, then i realised the stupidity of it, and also how dangerous it could make me, i stopped and won't carry again...but recently i've been seeing many people carrying i don't worry about myself very often, i don't feel threatend almost ever anymore, but seeing people blatently brandish kitchen steak knives on a bus, is rediculous, and i haven't been downtown in at least 4 months but the last time i was, sam you remember the random cracky drunk dude outside of Saphirs, then the black guy stepped in... that's the type of shit i'm talking about |
