Does anyone have any good breakfast ideas? I've been eating the same damn peanut butter sandwiches for the last 21 years cuz its just so fast and efficient. I went through a bagel and cream cheese phase, but that too grows old....

Inspire me!

just make a big batch of crepe batter:

3 eggs
two cups flour
1 1/2 cups milk

Cook with butter or magarine, not oil. Top with icing sugar or maple syrup or butter or regular sugar or sugar and cinnamon.

That source yogurt isn't any good. You actually need a bit of fat in the yogurt to absorb the nutrients...

While low-carbing it, never, never, never go for 'low-fat' versions of anything. There are two reasons for this: 1) Low-fat usually means more carbs per serving, and 2) Your body needs fat for energy. The idea that fat is bad is a myth, and it is especially a bad thing to avoid on low-carb diets. If you don't eat fat or carbs, your body will resort to burning proteins (like your muscles) for energy, and that's a bad thing.

I ususally buy a "Pain au raisin" (grape bread?) already sliced and I freeze it. You can take slices the morning and put them in the toaster. You can then spread Nutella, butter... on it...

I also make some "rostie" in advance and heat them the morning...

"oeuf à la coque" : put big eggs in boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes, spread cold salted butter on a piece of baguette and dip small slices of it in your egg mmmmm

Buy a big bunch of croissants and chocolatines (they have to be very fresh) and freeze them. Put them in the oven the morning during the shower time...
