first off. trance and freeform blow. like im so jaded. it felt like my ears were bleeding. im sure the djs were good and all. but yeah. besides the retarded wait outside, the party was super well organized... the alteration of the venue, the air conditioning thingys and friendly security providing me with rolling papers... like i said main room blowed (for me.. everyone else was jammin) the dnb and hc was chill but the tech house room was illin... better dancers too, not some shirtless french guy jumping up and down with glowsticks... or that girl that fit herself into one of those e balls (not the little ones dummy)... saw a couple ppl i knew. ugh.. and an ex. (nothin like a crazy girl that hates u dancing right next to u) and yeah. i hate glowsticks. i hate trance. i hate them combined. but i had fun. |

Beer and Cokes & Jack Daniels never fail to do the trick. Everything ran pretty smoothly cept for one mistake during Brad and Serge's set...and that was cos Brad was nicely ripped. Ha. I dont think anybody understood the first song in Dan and Kev's set except for us 4. Yay for ideas that develop on road trips and surprisingly materialize and get incorporated into sets. Everyone just kinda stood there with this "um wtf?" look on their faces. The 4 of us thought it was pretty funny and it was obvious that nobody else really got it.... Later on, Dan had a problem with one of his needles and one of the monitors was giving off this wack sound. Other than that, everything went pretty well. It was not half as hot as I had expected and, in fact, the house/tech room was pretty cooled down. Good beats in that room (for the 10 minutes I was in there), might I add. All in all, I'd say the guys did a good job with their party. Cops came by a few times to check out what was going on, but otherwise, it went down without a hitch. Good job. Time to go drink some more, now. |

the d n b was good, the house room was pretty chill, to my suprise i was in the trance room for more than 20 minutes without going totally insane. i didnt take ne thing, so by 7 i was mad tired and sore, and just wanted to go home. i saw some people i knew, and all the regular trance kids, bobbing up and down with theyre glowsticks...*puke*. the air conditioners and fans were definately a plus. :):) overall, was fun. thanks for dragging me out matt, |

the waiting time is understandable... im glad i brough a sweater... also the music really kicked ass in the main and dysfunctional room... so much that i had trouble going down the stairs at the goddamn metro.... palais du bingo i have to admit is a really good spot for underground raves. |

Glow sticks festival (LOL) .. Location was nice But 3 rooms in one space = soundclash In the drumnbass room you couldn't hear the bass in the booth, only the tech room kick..very annoying .. Aside from that everything was cool .. This room had 'nuff peeps dancin' .. T'was great to see POOKY dancing in this one ; familiar idj friend always helps in rockin' the place at some other jams ; thanks for rockin' Amanda :) HOST ONE reprezented also and that made me happy .. Mos def the idj massive (Nitrous, Axionfigga, Galaksy) blew the place up 3 nights in a row Big things a gwan Big ups to Luc for this jam Keep this vibe alive |
