 Coolness: 10 | Nice effort. but, imho, for it to be more a guide to raving, it must not catter to insiders of the culture, but must be able to explain the basic principles to, say, my little cousin or something.
Also, i found that they spend more time bitching at stuff with no explaining of/what/ever . Now, if they could up the descriptiveness of the guide, say to the level of the jargon file (which is, for all mesures, a guide to anything related to computers/kernel hacking/l337/ old school CPU users/start of the internet. AND, the jargon file is actually funny. do check it out. [ www.jargon.org ] to get back to it, i find that whoever did this did NOT do in order to documentate, but probably to show off, say he/she is l337, whatever. a real document would state east coast/west coast differences (like, i go straitedge, and i NEVER heard anything about putting Xes on my hands..wtf?? and they never explained the concept of plur.) To recap: MORE EXPLAINING, less bitching @ ppl. |
