Haven't seen threads about that lately, so...

I'd like to know, according to your beliefs and knowledge (or simply your heart)... Who do you think will win the Sept 4 elections? Who should win? Why they should win?
I'm feeling like a racing driver! =) right now..

I hear it's pretty tight, no chance of anyone getting a majority...i think it will be a PQ victory, minority government...Pauline will become the first woman premiere in quebec history, but it won't last the other parties will band to together to topple her government before the one year anniversary of her taking power, probably before next spring...

i could be wrong, just my impressions though...
I'm feeling surly right now..

I think we're gonna get screwed hard... and since the majority of people in this province don't seem to give a flying fuck that they have a 20 inch dildo constantly pumped up their asshole, it will never fucking stop...
I'm feeling forward every thurs right now..

Unfortunately, both of these are plausible scenarios, IMHO. I do believe we're heading for a minority government, either Liberal or PQ.

To acknowledge DynV's comment, I'm just reminded of one of the most basic rules of political science: the older you get, the more conservative you become. I also want to point out that despite some of the more leftist parties' openness to anglophones and allophones (i.e. Option Nationale), fear of sovereignty (or separation) means the point isn't getting across.

It's sad, but in that essence, anglos and allophones don't have much in terms of choice; they may hate Charest, but don't have much in terms of alternatives for a federalist party. CAQ? Bleeeh.

Loads of new parties too, means the vote will be more split. Despite some of them wishing for a proportional representation, we're still stuck with our current, outdated electoral system.

At any rate, these elections are leaving a sour taste in my mouth. I'm really just hoping for change at this point.

Last I heard, recent polls have shown PQ drop in popularity... PLQ are leading the polls... For now.

I don't know what's worse. PQ or PLQ... lol
