Hey guys,

I'm looking for a DJ who uses MIDI controllers so I can get an idea of what kind of interface the scene is looking for. Is there a particular controller that's in vogue right now? What features do you wish your controller had? What software do you use with your controller? Anything you wish to see in a future controller?

Cheers

I think the best for me is software specific controllers that don't require any mapping.
For DJing the best example I've seen of this is the novation dicer.
Literally plug and play with serato.
Love it, but still not perfect.
Would love another mode to trigger samples and would like to see the cues behave more like a pioneer cdj 800/ 1000.
I'm feeling republican right now..

I have the traktor S4 since october last year and it works perfect. I've been using traktor since 2008 and i love this program. It's user friendly for people like me who aren't uber geek.
