 Coolness: 685550 | Had a blast playing! Didn't stay for very long 'cause it was fucking cold and I freeze like a girl, but the two hours I was there were awesome!
A little funny thing: before going to the party, me and MeloDrastik were both listening to the police scanner stream (right here for those interested: [ www.radioreference.com ] ) and we heard a few mentions of the party.. The first one is the important one though - apparently, the land is owned by Walmart, because they were going to build one there, but after buying the land, they ran soil tests and it turned out that the ground is too toxic to be safe for people to be on/around.. Now, since the land is technically private, cops can bust you for trespassing.. but here's the thing - For that to stick, Walmart would have to press charges on each and every person for it to stick, or the cops would just be wasting a ton of time busting the party up, so we outright heard the cops on the radio say that, as long as there's no noise complaint from the people living around, they have nothing they can do and have been given the 'ok' by the owners of the land to let people do whatever the fuck they want to do.. After that there were two other calls, but none of them noise complaints, only telling the cops that a party is going on.. So, for future parties there - keep the sound from being too loud for the people living nearby and you SHOULD be fine! The cops knew it was going on and were even joking about maybe following the people with glowsticks to shut it down when the word from dispatch came that walmart gave 'permission' to people to go on the land. |

 Coolness: 2603945 | The people who were the main organizers of the event have to go back there today and clean the place up... It's a mess and we should not keep the location in such a mess. I understand the rain scared people but I'd like it that when we go back there the place is CLEAN!!!

But now I feel like a dick. I got home from werk @ 11:40, got ready to go, and was smoking a joint browsing and checking my mail. Then I got word about the police radio chatter, so I checked it out, and neard a few mentions about the party. At one point, from what I could gather, there was two cop cars parked at different places waiting for instructions, so I just kinda forgot about it and went to bed. :( Coulda, shoulda... Damn. Lesson learnt. |

 Coolness: 48650 | I deal with the police at the beginning of the party to make sure it was not going to get busted.
I made it clear this was not about gangs, drugs violence etc. They thought our project was awesome and encouraged it. They took my phone number, and would call me any time someone made a complaint so we could ajust out volume etc. Thanks to the SPVM for letting us do this party ! We counted the attendance at around 3H00 AM and estimated there were AT LEAST a 1000 people on site, probably more considering all the people around in the bushes or small hills. See you at a next free party soon ! Noah, The place has always been a dump, When I was going there younger there were people burning tires and playing hockey with rusty spray paint cans. i'm not saying it's good to have thousands of beer cans and bottles everywhere, but there was already a fair load of garbage from all the years of abandonement. That said, I'm right next to the spot right now and will go have a look this afternoon. |

 Coolness: 248385 | We heard every details on the police station! I was really surprise, the girl said, apparentlly they have no reason to interrupt the party ,you had the right to be there. THe other male cop tho, was shocked ( HAHAHHA , me and Fred were laughing , imagining his wtf face ) . he said: REALLY? You are telling me they have the right to be there? mmmmkay....... We have a good police system seriously! People should be careful with lightstick tho in these kind of events around the site. That's why some complaint were done, because normal people found it strange and called the police. |

| Coolness: 48650 | So I went back to the site today, and to my greatest surprise THERE WERE ALMOST NO BEER CANS OR BOTTLES LEFT.
There were at least 4 scavengers on the site collecting every single can or beer bottles!! They cleaned the place and were very happy about it !! |

 Coolness: 65875 | Just because there was garbage before you went doesn't mean you can't clean up after yourself. If you don't it just makes more work for the next party that has to clean up to make their evening pleasant. Anyhow, I am glad it was a success! Very impressed :) |
