Not only is Salon Daomé’s name rooted in history, but it is becoming a fixture and must for any new and permanent night crawler in the city. This nightspot is more of a concept lounge, where you’ll feel like you’ve entered a house party and not a club. The atmosphere is familiar, relaxed, and extremely eclectic. A mix of cultures and people make this the place to be. Open Space The loft-like space that houses Salon Daomé is on the second floor and can hold from 150 to 200 people. The area is considered by many to be 1,700 square feet of dance freedom. Red, gold, and beige walls encompass the locale, while African masks add a unique accent. Multiple leopard-print leather sofas make for easy seating, as massive wooden-sculpted chairs add to the décor.
