Theres actually a really cool technology thats being worked on like this. Floating, Solar Powered machines in the ocean that spray mist into the air. The mist acts as mirror to deflect the suns rays, thus reducing the amount of heat the earth absorbs
These ideas are actually very clever, because the issue with global warming isn't CO2 content in the air per se, but the effect of the CO2 content on the earths temperatures. | |

What if the giant mirrors flip over by accident and burn away large parts of the land, or boil the sea, or actually increase the temperature of the planet? It'd be like BOOSH! KAPOW!
