There have been repeated attempts to settle the case over the years, but the sticking point has always been Polanski's refusal to return to attend hearings. And who the fuck even made movies with him knowing what he did? That shit gets you shanked in jail, but aparently in the movie industry, people still work with you and help you make money despite what you've done.. Who would have figgured that murderers, thieves and rapists have better morals than film crews, actors, investors, SFX teams, etc..

Coolness: 76815	Chinatown was amazing but he plays a total creep in it. It's sad. Sort of like a Robert Blake situation in many ways. A talented person who does something fucked that basically destroys their career. At least Polanski made some fucking amazing films.
