Noerg Productions presents Microtek v.8. The event will be held on Saturday September 12th, 2009 and will take place at Espace Reunion located at 6610 Hutchison. The occasion will be the album launch party of "Torus", the new Metalogic album, which will be released on the label Nachtstrom Schallplatten this autumn! Frederik Hatsav and Jamie Kidd joined forces in 2006 to create the new Metalogic sound - edgy, dynamic and highly rhythmic electronic music. Based in Toronto since 1997, Frederik Hatsav creates his project Metalogic in 2002. Project which was presented several times in Montreal by Noerg Productions like the launch of his album 'Magnetic Influence' in 2005. The first of these collaborations was the hypnotic and percussive 12 inch EP 'Atom Eater' released in 2007 on Brooklyn's Addon. The duo's follow up EP 'Boxed and Warped', a 5 tracks, bass heavy monster, was released by legendary techno label Hidden Agenda and has been charted by artists such as Perc, Extrawelt, Alex Bau, Frankie Bones, Tony Rohr, John Selway, and Someone Else. Most recently, a collaboration with Dietrich Schoenemann has resulted in the 'No Scarf, No Strasse' 12 inch, which has been supported by Christian Smith, Abe Duque, Adam Beyer, Dustin Zahn, Len Faki, and Alexi Delano. It’s our favorite Tech&Deep House duo Lucie Lebel and Jeff Fontaine who will be taking care of kicking off this event. Then it’s no other than Olivier Saint-Germain, the one and only, accompanied by the legendary Soundshaper, who, geared with their 4 turntables, will bring the evening to a memorable ending. At the Vj booth, Mari-No will perform one of her unique “Live drawing” act that she recently executed in Berlin.
