Did My Firebox Burnout?

Coolness: 34530	Anybody have this happen to them? My firebox all of a sudden has no power light. It has faint light when i hit the Phantom power button. I dont know if i have the power adaptor. i've been powering it with Firewire since I got it. i will be trying it with an adaptor later when I can get my hands on one. anyone have any ideas? this fuckin sucks! edit: i tried plugging it into another comp, the blue light came on for a bit, then i heard a fuckin POP in the machine and the light went to Red, then off. wtf!!! lol edit again: i have a feeling its the firewire cable. everytime i unplug and plug back in im getting a short blue light, then back to nothing. where can i buy a cheap firewire cable? dollarama? just for testing purposes

Coolness: 127745	this happens alot with firewire sound cards plugged into a poor quality firewire port .. use a texas instruments chipset to avoid this problem in the future.
