| I was thinking something similar.. my ideal "future-device" is a set of transparent LCD glasses with cameras on them, but the cameras are only there to detect the AR 'patches', the transparent LCDs would then 'animate' them whatever way..
combined with a portable device that's maybe GPS/internet/wifi/cellphone all-in-one style.. You enter in your personal info on your device (age, birthdate, if you're veggetarian or not, what size pants/shirts you wear, whatever) and then, say you go to a mall, the GPS can pinpoint what store you're near, and the adds will only show you stuff you fit in that's on special..
or you tell it what kinds of movies/what actors/directors/etc you like and when you look at a movie-poster space, you can 'scroll' through the various playing movies based on your preferences.. "click" a poster to watch the trailer for the movie..
using the GPS and wireless internet, you can make a network with your friends and set a range parameter.. say someone you know comes within 200 meters of you, but you don't know where they are (like if someone is 1 block away and across the street on a busy shopping day like Boxing day) it could pop an arrow over their head pointing down at them untill they're 50 meters away, then it'll just display their name over their head WOW-style :P Mise À Jour » Screwhead a écrit sur Sun 14 Jun, 2009 @ 5:49pm |

| imagine an AUGMENTED REALITY RAVE! everybody wearing theyre new I-GLASSES with gps video and everything needed ! finally mtl scene will survieing because no matter what location ppl will throw raves in it will look like its FUCKING COOL WITH THE AUGMENTED REALITY! shit ppl will rave from home! |

| It's sorta been done! not a racing game obviously, but with a camera in the passenger window and the game is kinda like an R-Type style side-scrolling spaceship game!
