For once there's a GOOD video that deals with the issue of people selling themselves for "The american dream" (ie: Money and fame) and because it uses war imagery she pulled it because it was too controversial. For once in her career she does something with brains and she goes and fucks it up like a dumb bitch.

well, from what I've heard, the video was done before the war started, when it was just a threat, and she wanted to show that she was anti-war as well as all the issues that are dealt with in the video/song. But now that the war's started, she wants to show her support for the troops fighting and she doesn't want people to think she's anit-american. (Ie: Someone threatened to sue her or something similar so she's changing her oppinion and views on the whole issue)

I've seen the video. It's pretty good, and I think it's really well done except for one detail: In chosing "chubby" women to show what's "agains the stereotypical fashion norm", she picked BLACK women, who are PROUD to be chubby and who everyone KNOWS don't feel "bad" because fashion people tell them they should.
