If you do anything other than talk calmly to a cop, they can and will physically do what the fuck they want, and you've got nothing you can say or do. For talking bad about them or yelling at them you can get a fine, even just making a sudden movement like putting your hands up in frustration can end with you in handcuffs and in a cell overnight. I'm not saying it's right, far from it; I've said it before and I say it again, any time a cop hurts or kills someone, 10 of them should get the same fate they dished out. It's unfortunate that the law isn't the same for everyone, in the same way that Paris Hilton could "talk" to a judge/sheriff and get a jail sentence reduced to a home imprisonment just because she's rich and famous. But that's the way it goes; if you take the slightest, most minute action of aggresivity against a police officer, you can and WILL get beat down, chained up and thrown around like an animal. If you don't realise that and do something as stupid as throwing your shoe at them, it's your own fault for being stupid. |

 Coolness: 158725 | well i see i was lucky b/c when i got arrested at 12yo i was way worse than what the girl did and the cops were pretty nice w/ me even if i was totally disorganized, aggressive and very vulgar w/ them...
i got out 12 hours later and i think on that amount of time i passed like 6 hours screaming shit at them or singing very loud alone in my cell. that was one of my most retarded moment... yeah seriously i must have been the most annoying person they got there... but they still got me a mcdonald meal. i already did 3 times 6 months in solitary and they never brake me so i think now i can pretty much take whatever.... i'm very resilient! i found the girl pretty good. if a cops would have punch me i would have punch back and did the shrimp until i'm comatose and cannot move anymore.. i would have had a worse beat up than this girl.... :( |

So police surveillance is diminishing ? Why the hell did she throw her shoe at him? She was brought in on a car theft charge, she's not some innocent girl who was plucked off the street by preditorial cops who then raped her in her cell. She attacked them with her shoe, then they took her down and cuffed her. Do you ever see those videos on cops where they end a car chase by violently pulling the guy from the car and cuffing him? How often are you laughing at that point? She's no better than those criminals. |

| Coolness: 108795 | Maybe it's a false rumor but I heard outside of Quebec that a lot of car theft were by joy riders, they went up to a park or a field and left it there without substantial damage, if that's the case you only lost a couple days of bus riding or taxi until someone found it and you get it back. |
