| Coolness: 2604105 | That picture you have is 128 x 157 pixels... Imagine you replied to a message 5 times like in this thread... That means over a page of the same image repeating... That would blow... Now imagine someone started doing this shit with bigger pics... Look at ravezone for example... I hate looking at that message board because all I see is 100's of animated pictures and 3 words of text in each thread... Yukky... |

what you fail to realize is this the pictures are on external servers. Which means that your server will output the HTML to the browser, the browser will then proceed to render it, then download the images off the external server. It would not force anyone to wait for the messages to be displayed any longer than they have to right now. |
