New Computer.. .

Coolness: 145145	so after having the same piece of shit pentium 3 for like a million years i bought a new a laptop yesterday... i wanna know if you think i got a a good deal, computers are pretty cheap here in korea...so lets see this is what i got... 14.1 inch screen 1.7 celeron processor 1 gig of ram 80 gigs of hard save space wireless dvd/cd combo drive (but i can only write cd not dvd) the company that makes it is 'hasee' i also got at the same time a 120 gig mobile hard drive made by samsung... all told it cost me about $520 canadian, everything is new out of the box so i have 1 year warant. on all of it... did i get a good deal...?

Coolness: 282400	Fuck yeah! I have pretty much all that in mac form. Cost an arm and a leg. With my 250gig external HD it came to 1500$, you're lucky to be there lol My gf's new Toshiba laptop has around the same specs, and that cost her around 900$ So all in all, Nice one !

Coolness: 145145	yeah if anyone wants a mobile hard drive they're pretty cheap here, i could bring you one when i come back in the summer... an 80 gig one is like $80 a 120 gig is like 100 bucks... they also have big 500 and 1000 gig drives (incidently these ones also double as video players as they have an rca imput that jacks into your tv) these ones go for i think like $250 and $300 respectively... pm me anyone if you are interested

Coolness: 62895	Yeah, for that price it's fine. You could have gotten an even better computer intower form for the same price but for a laptop, that's pretty good :)

Coolness: 81635	You probably could have found a similar machine with solo Centrino processor and a dvdrw+/- for that price. Xp should still run fine but I definitely wouldn't try installing Vista on a machine with those specs.

Coolness: 201170	The price doesn't seem to be much different from canadian prices for the same hardware, but it also depends on how good the build quality is. Also depends on the weight, if it is very light, then it might be a good deal.
